AWN Myanmar participated in the 1st Wine Expo in Myanmar, held during 27th September 2019 to 27th September 2019. Over 200 labels were presented during the expo from both old and new world producers. 

During the expo, exhibitors and distributors participated in a wine challenge, comprising of 8 categories and 132 wine labels, and judged by an 18 member judging panel, comprising of local and overseas industry professionals, journalists, restauranteurs, sommeliers and wine producers.

AWN is proud to mention that out of the 8 categories, AWN Myanmar won 4 Gold out of 8 Gold medals, and 1 Bronze out of 8 Bronze medals. The categories in which AWN Myanmar received accolades were; 

1. Best Red Wine with Myanmar Cuisine (Bronze)
2. Best Sweet Wine (Gold)
3. Best White Wine with Myanmar Cuisine (Gold)
4. Best White Wine below MMK 30’000 (USD 19.0) (Gold)

5. Best Indigenous Grape (Gold)
